The Power of the Creative Word

Posted: February 21, 2013 in Uncategorized

The one thing Christ gave us was his word, the creative, authoritative word and because Christ went to the cross, we, the believer, have complete authority all because of the cross. Because we have that authority, because we have the right to walk in that authority given to us because of Christ and the cross, it is imperative that the believer understand not just what authority they possess, but the authority of the creative word.

God’s word is a creative force, it means what it says and it cannot come back void. (Isaiah 55:11) The creative word, when used by faith, empowers the believer to literally speak to their situation, their mountain and command it to be moved. (Mark 11:23)

That creative word formed the world into existence. That creative word told a widow that her meal and oil would not run out. The creative word by a Roman Centurion said, “Just speak the word only”. That creative word healed the sick, raised the dead and even commanded demons to flee. The creative word of God, instilled in each believer when combined with pure faith, can shake the world.

So do we as believers have that same authority of the creative word? Yes we do. Notice the words of Christ in Mark 11:23 “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” See that? ‘Whosoever shall SAY, unto this mountain…’ Jesus didn’t say, “Whosoever shall believe, he didn’t say “Whosoever shall have faith.” He said, without any doubt, “Whosoever shall SAY unto this mountain, be thou removed.” That is the legal, spiritual right of every believer to speak authority over our mountains.

What is your mountain that a creative word must be used? Is it sickness? Speak the word. Is it disease? Speak the word. Is it financial? Speak the word. So do we have that right? Absolutely. Mark 16:17-18 makes it abundantly clear our authority, “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”

The creative, authoritative word, when accompanied by faith, gives the believer the spiritual right to speak healing to the sick, command the demonic to leave, command the dead to rise. That is the promise of the cross, because what Christ did on the cross, it empowered us to do the same miracles he did on the earth. So why are you not speaking that same creative word over the mountain in your life? It took God to show me this truth and now I share it with you, but it’s not a NEW revelation, this is simply understanding the word and the authoritative right we have because of the cross. This isn’t speaking things into existence, that is witchcraft, this is using the creative word of God already given to us by Christ to shake the world for the kingdom of God.

Remember, Jesus told his disciples in Luke 17:6 that if we have faith as a grain of mustard seed, we can SAY to the sycamine tree, be plucked up and planted in the sea and it should obey you. So, now that you know the truth, do not allow the enemy to steal your authoritative right to speak that creative word over your situation and declare “BE THOU REMOVED” for it’s your right!
