“And he (Judas) came up to Jesus at once and said, “Greetings, Rabbi!” And he kissed him.” Matthew 26:49

“The former proclaim Christ out of rivalry, not sincerely but thinking to afflict me in my imprisonment. What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is proclaimed, and in that I rejoice. Yes, and I will rejoice,” Philippians 1:17-18

Learn this truth: Not everyone is in your corner. Believe it or not, even in the body of Christ, not everyone who comes as “friend” is truly rooting for you. Truth is, some pray for your failure. Why is this? Because ego and pride is a vicious spirit and it will do anything to hinder the plans God has for you. That’s why it’s important to be careful who you speak your dreams to, who you speak God’s plans for your life to, because some, who might claim they share your vision will be the very ones who, like Joseph’s brothers, will do everything they can to destroy that dream or vision. So don’t be so quick to share everything to every one what God is going to do, because Satan has many ears, and some of those ears are sitting in the same pew with you every Sunday morning too.

There are MANY people who do not like me, some I know personally that do not share my calling nor vision and yes, some speak, even now, against me privately, so be it, but I’m also very careful whom I allow to speak into my life – so should you. Never allow just anyone to speak into your spirit, because as I stated above, some simply do not want you to succeed in ministry, or even in life. So be careful whom you take advice from, who you confide in, who you share your inner most dreams with, because I assure you, not everyone is for you nor is thrilled when God beings to lift you up in position and influence. Because they are secretly scheming your failure, so watch out and remember this nugget of truth I just shared with you.
