end times

I’m going to give you (the reader) a prophetic word (a prophecy) concerning the last days, to be more precise, exactly when we should be looking for the second coming of Jesus Christ. The word God spoke to me came three times, three specific utterances which the Lord spoke into my spirit to give me understanding in the supernatural realm that we might better understand exactly where we are on God’s prophetic time table. Understand, we are in fact in the last days, no question about it, what the world is witnessing, not to mention the church, as it pertains to the level of violence, perversion, wars, greed, corruption, not to mention the level of spiritual deception at such a high degree, are all indicators we are near the end of the age. Yet are there specific signs we can look for to give us a clue as to what time we’re in that would reveal if we are near to the day of the Lord and his coming? Yes, there is.

In 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4, the apostle Paul gave us, the church, a clue as it regards to the “end” of time, and more precise, the final events which will bring about the second coming. Read what Paul states, “Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.” Notice a few things here as to what Paul was saying. The first was deception. There were many during Paul’s day who were stating that the resurrection and the coming of Christ had already occurred, Paul was refuting this message by actually speaking as a prophet by giving a literal prophecy of the future, not during his time on earth, for Paul already knew he was going to die by Nero. So Paul clearly understood through the gift of prophecy that first there would be deception not just in his day, but in ours as well.

The second thing is something Paul was giving us to pay attention to as to the season in which we would know we were at the end of the age where not only would the antichrist would be revealed, but equally so, the second coming of the Lord would occur. This is two-fold, 1. A rebellion against truth (the gospel) and 2. The man of sin is revealed to all (the church). What Paul was saying here in this particular verse is giving us another sign (actually two), that there would come a day where people would literally rebel from traditional Christianity, that the gospel of Jesus Christ and him crucified would no longer be accepted in our world. It’s hard to imagine comprehending such rebellion, but the word clearly tells us that at some point people simply will not either hear the gospel and reject it, nor will they believe it. 2. The man of sin (antichrist) would be revealed. It is here we finally understand that Paul is telling us two major points, the gospel will be restricted on the earth and at some point the one who is called the man of “sin” will be revealed. Yet it is in verse 4 that we have a more complete context to what Paul is saying, how we will know that this is the sign – the temple.

Many times, either through tradition or by ignorance, many keep to their beliefs not willing to change their position when it comes to the series of events which will occur in the last days that give us clues to tell us where we are at to the soon return of Jesus Christ. The truth is, if we study the scriptures, and allow the spirit of God to lead us as well as direct us in our learning, he will in fact give us spiritual as well as prophetic insight to show us how close we are to that coming day. Paul gives us the hidden clue that many overlook – “God’s temple“.

In Isaiah 2:2 we have the prophet Isaiah giving us the foundation by which the apostle Paul echoes when Isaiah states that, “In the last days, the mountain of the LORD’s house will be the highest of all–the most important place on earth. It will be raised above the other hills, and people from all over the world will stream there to worship.    The prophet Isaiah is speaking about a future time in our day at some particular point in the near future, the third temple will be built. This coincides with the other prophets who have stated that in the period known as the last days, a third temple will be built, and out of that temple shall come the man of sin who, as stated by Paul, will go in and declare himself God. Yet in what Paul has spoken in 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 is clear, the hidden sign that we, the church, is to look for that would tell us how close we are is in fact the third temple.

Which leads me to something the Lord spoke prophetically into my spirit one particular day when he revealed something which had always been in the word, here is that prophetic word God gave me, “When you see the construction of the temple being built, know that my coming is near.”

I contend that the second coming or the “rapture” cannot occur, nor will occur, until the third temple is finished, it is during this prophetic season that we will begin to see the beginning of the end as it relates to the coming of the Lord. Some would cite Matthew 24:36 where Jesus cites that no man might know the day or hour, however, it must be read in its proper context. Jesus was not saying that the church will not know the closeness nor the time frame he would return, he was saying that the actual “day” and the actual “hour” is known only to the Father, however, we will know the signs of his return. Actually, when we read the word as it should, we will understand that God’s people will not find itself surprised by the Lord’s coming – “But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the Day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety, then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others, but let us watch and be sober” (1 Thess.5:1-6)

Jesus Christ, the King of Kings, the savior of the world will not come as a thief to the church, it’s impossible for that to happen. Why? Because Paul said it himself in the above verse, “But ye, brethren, are NOT in darkness, that THAT day [the rapture] should overtake you as a thief.” Paul gave us the truth, that when we see all of the final signs  culminate to one final event, especially the third temple restored, then the church needs to understand that the second coming, the removal of the church is near, yes, even at the door. Please do not be confused by teachers who cling to men’s logic or traditional teachings, but instead stick to the word of God, not twisted by commentaries, or opinions, but by the spirit of prophecy revealed through his prophets.

The second coming of the Lord, the rapture, the antichrist, the final “signs” pointing to the end will be known to all when we who are alive in this last generation see the re-building of the last and final temple in Israel. That is the word the Lord has given me to you as his prophet.

You’re getting warmer brother! Are you aware of recently revealed opinions of the original locations of the temples? A clue: NOT on the temple mount, which more and more are beginning to believe was the actual Antonia fortress. I invite you dig into http://www.askelm.com. Oh, and that catch phrase “no one will know the day or the hour” specifically points to Yom Teruah or the feast of trumpets. Its coming up this week….:)

I believe it’s still a while to come. About a week ago, I feel like the Lord told me during my sleep…“Don’t be deceived, there is no one yet on the world stage who fits that description.”

  3. Really? How long are we talking?
