For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved.” (Romans 1:26-27)

On Monday, October 6th 2014, history was made. The United States Supreme Court did something that most did not see coming, instead of taking several cases concerning same sex marriage that were brought before it that would settle the issue over same sex marriage, the Court refused to hear those cases, surprising not only pro-gay advocates for marriage, but equally, they rejected traditional marriage proponents. By doing this action, the U.S. Supreme Court effectively said they agreed with the lower Federal appeals courts who have vastly affirmed the rights of men and women to marry those of the same sex, striking down the rights of States to base laws effectively banning gay marriage. The Supreme Court, by not stepping into this issue, has effectively sealed the nation forever when it comes to homosexuality and marriage – it’s now the law of the land. (source)

So how will this “non-ruling” effect our ever changing culture? It will do so in several ways, and how it will come about can be traced all the way back to what occurred in 1964. President Lyndon B. Johnson cajoled and collaborated with Congress 50 years ago until the Civil Rights Act of 1964 was passed and signed into law. The Civil Rights Law, a Johnson legacy, affected the nation profoundly as it for the first time prohibited discrimination in employment and businesses of public accommodation on the basis of race, color, religion, sex or national origin. Johnson worked with Democrats and Republicans from across the country and invested significant political capital to circumvent the legislators of the former Confederacy to pass the Civil Rights Act. Johnson’s efforts did more for civil rights than any president since Abraham Lincoln.

Like 1964’s civil rights law, another formation is happening under a new form of deception – gay rights. Just like what happened in the civil rights era of the past, this new millennium of the 21st century is bringing with it such a spirit of perversion that many will be caught unaware until it’s over. With today’s ruling by the highest court in the nation, every aspect of our culture will be impacted in the coming years.

If you believe that this issue about gay rights is just about homosexuals getting married, you would be wrong, this is more, much more than just the right to marry, it’s about influencing our culture with the idea which says an alternative lifestyle is just as normal as traditional lifestyle’s. Education will become the next battleground. Due to the court making it clear gay marriage is “normal”, so will the Government then become directed to work with educators who have a liberal approach to alternative views when it comes to marriage, will begin to broaden the path to include curriculum for teachers that will reflect the changing times. Children, who were once only taught about traditional concepts and ideas (traditional marriage) will be forced now to include the belief of other ideas of what marriage is, including gay marriage, polygamy, and even multiple partner relationships. This is coming.

The next effect will be in the workplace, Anti-discrimination laws which already are on the books, will begin to include anti-homosexual language which will prohibit an employer from discriminating against hiring someone simply because they are gay or lesbian – or even transgendered. Churches, who were once protected by law due to their religious beliefs, will be forced to hire individuals who might not share their particular faith or idea when it comes to the gay lifestyle.

Pastors who once could marry anyone as they desired under the old system of traditional marriage, will be forced to marry gay couples under threat of revocation of their non-tax structure. You think it can’t happen? Think again. Already there is a push by powerful lobbyists for the homosexual community to push into law protection status which would in affect, make it very difficult for a church or otherwise, to reject a homosexual couple from marrying in their church. The threat of removing a churches or Denomination’s tax status will create a tsunami affect across the country, where pastors and religious leaders will have to make the decision whether or not to make any stand when it comes to same sex marriage. In other words, churches will either abide by the coming laws which will occur in the near future and give their full support toward gay rights, or face the economic and social backlash that will arrive on their doorstep.

Some would argue that this could never occur in the United States of America, but I would introduce them to the Kleins, an Oregon couple that owned a local bakery, who, refusing to bake a cake for a lesbian wedding, was found guilty of violating Oregons anti-equality law when it came to refusing their order. They were fined $150,000 dollars and were forced to close their store. (source)

The last full affect will be found in the church. The gay theology that is currently creeping within the modern church will grow as more and more pastors, Denominations and Organizations will begin to soften their views toward gay Christianity. It will be a much younger brand of Evangelicalism which will align itself with the changing culture to reflect itself as a church of openess and tolerant. This movement will make the church bring damnable heresies, one being that people can be gay and a follower of Christ. Already several prominent evangelical leaders are moving toward this attitude, whereby what once was considered immoral and discouraging, will no longer be considered such. Same sex marriage will invade the pulpits of many, with pastors changing their hearts and minds, not to mention their sermons to reflect the new era of tolerance.

Paul said it himself in 2 Timothy 4:3 -4 “For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.

This current “ruling” will allow children to be adopted by gay couples, our entertainment, our television shows, books and films will quickly catch up to match this ruling which occurred today in normalizing homosexuality. Yet God gives us a clear warning that when a nation forgets God, forsakes his word for another lie, then that nation, regardless of how powerful it might be, militarily, economically or even spiritually, God will judge that nation and bring it to ruin. That is the future of the United States of America, for today this nation sent a direct message to God and said, “We will do as we please.” yet God’s response is yet to be revealed – but it’s coming, and when it comes, all will remember that God will not tolerate blatant rebellion.
