“But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.” (2 Timothy 3:1)

The Lord dealt with my spirit concerning this prophecy which he has shown me, revealing to me a glimpse of what is to come – great trouble. The apostle Paul warns that in the last days, great trials await the church, dark days are on the horizon, where the storm clouds are gathering, God is sending out his voice of warning to those who will listen. It’s never easy to speak such a troubling word, sometimes are flesh will weigh things and it begins to weigh the person who has been given such a word to the point where they are almost consumed by the responsibility God has given them to speak such a prophetic message to the body of Christ.

In my spirit I have consistently sought God’s desire, his perfect will, nothing for me, for I am truly nothing but a redeemed sinner, saved by grace (thru faith) in what Christ did, a man who still struggles with problems in his own life, yet, God seems to have selected me to walk in this office of the prophetic to warn others of what is about to occur, and to that I must be faithful.

The Lord began to speak to me last night while in prayer concerning two things 1. the last generation and 2. the nation of America. Let me share the first word God spoke to me concerning the last generation. “10 generations have passed and 1 generation coming which shall see the fulfillment of my word.” The Lord God was revealing to me that 10 generations have passed, one currently is fading (the generation of those born in the great depression era) and 1 is now being birthed. It will be this particular generation which will see the final fulfillment of that which has been prophesied that is coming. They are indeed the last generation, those born mid 1990-2010.

The second part of the prophecy given to me was about the United States of America. Christ told us in Luke 12:48 “But the one who did not know, and did what deserved a beating, will receive a light beating. Everyone to whom much was given, of him much will be required, and from him to whom they entrusted much, they will demand the more.”  The Lord is telling us that when much is given, much shall be required. There is no question that the United States has been given much light as it relates to the gospel of Jesus Christ. America is saturated with the gospel, it’s embedded within our very fabric as a nation, even our Constitution was molded by the tenants of the Bible, not to mention many of our founding Fathers considered themselves Christian, followers of Jesus Christ. Of all the nations on earth, it has consistently been the U.S. who has sent the gospel, via the church, to the unsaved world. America, as a nation has sent more missionaries into the darkest places on earth through the church, yet today that is dwindling to a small number as the church is losing its focus on foreign missions. Yet, for centuries America has, to some degree, respected and even walked in the providence of God because of its link to Christian principles. Sadly that is now no longer the case.

With the rise of secularism within the nation, the rise of secular humanism, atheism, paganism and the acceptance of perversion such as homosexuality, the nation is going the way of Sodom. God has given this nation (the people) to repent, to allow his word and his people to move as they once did, yet more and more the people have refused God’s instruction and they have refused his servants, the voice of the prophets to turn back to the cross. So here is the next prophetic word God spoke to me concerning the United States, “When the next decade passes I will remove my hand fully from this nation, I will give my people 1 decade to do what I have called it to do, then my hand shall be lifted.”

This is the word given to me by the Lord.
